V2S for iOS: privacy policy

VPN service

V2S uses an iOS NetworkExtension and the bundled Xray engine to process the traffic, destinations and DNS requests needed to route your connection through the server you select. A server you add may be operated by a third party. V2S-operated Premium servers are available with an active Apple subscription. The server operator can see your connecting IP address and connection metadata and may observe traffic that lacks separate end-to-end encryption. A VPN does not guarantee anonymity.

Local configurations

Imported server profiles and connection credentials are stored in this device's private App Group so the app and VPN extension can use them. Private subscription URLs are stored in the device Keychain; subscription metadata and settings are stored in the App Group. The app contacts a subscription provider when you import or refresh its URL, so that provider can receive your IP address and the request. Private profiles are not uploaded to a public discovery feed. Removing a profile in the app removes its local record; deleting the app may not erase all Keychain items.

Premium subscriptions

Apple handles payments, trial eligibility, renewal and cancellation; V2S does not receive your card details. To activate or restore access, the app sends an Apple-signed transaction over HTTPS to the V2S verification service, which verifies it with Apple. The service maintains entitlement status, the product and expiry, an account mapping and the credentials needed to provide Premium access. Service ingress may record request IP and operational metadata. V2S does not intentionally write signed transactions or VPN credentials to application logs. Cancel or manage billing in your Apple Account; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Other servers and checks

Public or imported servers may be independently operated and have their own data practices. When available, public discovery contacts a V2S feed service to request candidates and can reveal your IP address and request metadata to that service. Public availability or a successful connectivity check does not verify a server's location, privacy practices, or authority to share its configuration. Connectivity checks contact test destinations through the chosen route and are not proof of tunnel privacy. Do not use an unknown server for sensitive activity.

Use, sharing and retention

V2S does not sell VPN traffic data or use it for advertising or tracking. The app has no advertising or analytics SDK. Network traffic is processed by the selected server operator; imported subscription providers receive refresh requests; Apple processes purchases; and the V2S hosting provider processes the verification service's operational records. Local records remain until removed in the app or by deleting the app, subject to iOS and Keychain behavior. Server-side entitlement and operational records may remain after local deletion. No automatic remote deletion deadline is promised. Independent operators control their own records.

Your choices

Disconnect to stop the VPN tunnel. Remove imported profiles and subscriptions in the app to stop using them. Request V2S Premium account deactivation or deletion through the contact form; ownership verification may be required. Contact independent providers about their records. Do not include private keys, passwords, subscription URLs or signed transactions in a support request.
